TUTORIAL: SHANGHAI MOONCAKE

What you need: Mooncake Premix - 1 packet

Butter - 200gm

Egg Yolk only - 1 nos Mooncake Paste - 1 kg Method:

  1. Shape mooncake paste into round balls of 40gm each.

  2. Put in butter to mooncake mix & mix well.

  3. Divide dough into 50gm each & wrap with the moulded mooncake paste.

  4. Apply egg yolk wash to the top of the dough.

  5. You may decorate your Shanghai Mooncake with Almond Flakes (optional).
